Slaughter and May partner Sumanasuriya to join Takeover Panel as secretary
The takeover watchdog seconds top bankers and lawyers for two-years
Slaughter and May lawyer Hemita Sumanasuriya was promoted to partner earlier this year
A Slaughter and May corporate partner has been seconded to the UK’s Takeover Panel as secretary for two years.
Hemita Sumanasuriya was promoted to partner at the Magic Circle law firm earlier this year.
He will start the role at the Takeover Panel for two years with effect from 25 September, the organisation said in a 6 June statement.
