A legal services company has secured a £10m investment from private equity firm LDC to bolster back-office support so barristers in England and Wales can break out of the traditional office-bound 'chambers' model.

LDC, which is part of Lloyds Banking Group, has made the investment in The Barrister Group which enables barristers to choose to work remotely.
