Christian Meissner, the former chief executive of Credit Suisse's investment bank, joined merchant bank BDT & MSD Partners. Meissner, who previously led Bank of America's corporate and investment banking team in the fall out from the 2008 financial crisis, joined the firm as a partner in London. The respected dealmaker, who took over Credit Suisse's investment bank as it embarked on an overhaul amid successive crises, left the Swiss bank late last year in the aftermath of another strategic shift.
